Why an
Additional Warranty? A wide variety
of comprehensive extended warranty protection plans are available to
the consumer. Why consider a protection plan? If you are like most
car buyers, you did your best to ensure that you purchased a
reliable vehicle. However, no matter how reliable your car
may be, you know that one day it may break down. Although
you cannot predict when it will happen, the repair cost will likely
be yours to pay.
Purchase an extended warranty protection
plan for your car and repair costs are minimized. Why pay
hundreds or even thousands of dollars for auto repairs when you may
be able to pay just a small deductible? When purchasing an extended
warranty, make certain you buy from a reputable company. Look for
extras like the option to cancel the contract at any time,
penalty-free monthly payment plans, towing service, rental car and
trip-interruption benefits. If you are hoping to avoid costly
repairs on your new or pre-owned vehicle and would like a free
no-obligation quote on an auto warranty or extended service
contract, Roger Phelps Cars is
proud to provide you with competitive extended warranty options.

Maintenance Service
Guide
It's relatively easy to take care of your car if done
on a schedule. Maintenance visits should occur every three to four
months. One good way to remember is by the change of seasons. Not
every thing needs to be done each time you visit your mechanic, for
instance, most cars only need a factory scheduled service twice a
year, and regular maintenance will alleviate the need for you to
wonder whether you're "tuned-up" all right. Back To Top
Follow a factory maintenance schedule
exactly as recommended if you are leasing, or if you anticipate
having any problems with your warranty. It's a lot easier to prove
your case if you can show you've done exactly what was recommended.
Here's a general guide for what to do and when if you are not using
a factory schedule:
- 7,500 miles: Get a lubrication, oil and
oil filter change, rotate tires, check brakes, and a complete
safety check
- 11,250 miles: Oil and oil filter change
- 15,000 miles: Get a lubrication, oil and
oil filter change, rotate tires, check brakes, and transmission
check, clean air filter, and a complete safety check
- 18,750 miles: Oil and oil filter change
- 22,500 miles: Get a lubrication, oil and
oil filter change, rotate tires, check brakes, and a complete
safety check
- 26,250 miles: Oil and oil filter change
- 30,000 miles: Get a lubrication, oil and
oil filter change, rotate tires, check brakes, replace air filter,
sparkplugs, adjust valves (unless hydraulic) check timing, flush
brake fluid, change transmission fluid, cooling system flush, and
a complete safety check
